1. What is Order Defect Rate (ODR)?

To sell on Amazon, a seller’s ODR must be below 1%. Exceeding this threshold can result in account suspension or removal of sales privileges.
2. What happens if a seller’s ODR reaches 1%?
If a seller's ODR reaches 1%, any self-fulfilled products will lose access to the "Buy Box." Additionally, Amazon may suspend or terminate the seller’s account, withholding funds to refund customers. If the ODR slightly exceeds 1%, the store will be suspended, giving the seller 17 days to restore the account. A significantly high ODR indicates serious issues such as excessive delivery delays and numerous canceled orders.

Sellers must ensure the first physical scan by SFC is generated within the handling time (1 day). Delayed deliveries disqualify the order from ODR policy protection. Therefore, products participating in the X-Day service must be in stock to meet the requirements.
